Boat Lift Limit Switch

A waterproof limit switch that protects your boat and boat lift from accidental over-height lifting. When the switch is tripped, it immediately breaks the electrical connection to the motor in the UP direction, allowing the lift to operate only DOWN until the switch state is restored. Universal design allows the switch to be mounted in nearly any location or position that makes contact at the desired height limit, and an included bypass component lets users override limit switch operation when needed.

Over-Height Safety Protection

The Boat Lift Limit Switch protects your boat and lift hardware from accidental over-height travel. When the switch is tripped at the maximum safe height, it immediately breaks the electrical connection to the motor in the UP direction. The lift can still be operated in the DOWN direction, allowing the operator to lower the carriage and reset the switch state without losing control of the system. Universal Mounting Design

The universal mounting design allows the limit switch to be installed in nearly any location or position that will make contact at the desired set height. Typical installations involve positioning the switch so it makes contact with the boat carriage at the maximum safe height, or so it monitors the linear cable wind on the spool when the lift reaches its upper limit. The flexibility makes this switch compatible with a wide range of dock and lift configurations.

Optional Functionality with Included Bypass

The limit switch function is optional. The kit includes a "cheater" bypass component that allows users to manually override the limit switch operation when necessary, providing flexibility for maintenance, system testing, or installations where the safety cutoff is not desired. The bypass is an easy way to disable the cutoff temporarily without removing or rewiring the switch.

Compatible with Lake Lifter Wireless Hoist Systems

The Boat Lift Limit Switch is designed for use with Lake Lifter's wireless boat hoist motor systems, including the DC 24V Flat Plate Motor System and the C-Face / Gear Box Motor System. The matched fitment ensures clean integration with the existing motor controller so the switch behaves as a true extension of the Lake Lifter system rather than a third-party add-on.
